Central Park Fall

I felt like it took awhile for fall to show up in Central Park. These pics were taken October 25th, except the last picture was taken November 8th. I was starting to worry the leaves wouldn't change at all, and then boom! There it is. So pretty. :)

Winter in NYC

Anyone that knows me knows I hate being cold. Good thing NYC is still pretty. ;)

Soho Saturdays

Soho is my all-time fave place to go on Saturdays when I have nothing to do. It can get busy at times, but the shopping is too good to be true. I'm convinced the H&M on Broadway & Spring St. gets all the best clothes. Seriously, it's another level up from the other H&M's around. Of course my other fave is TopShop and ALDO (where I get all my boots and glasses, yess).

But I cannot leave Soho without stopping at my ALL-TIME favorite bakery in the world LADUREE. Let's just say I was more than thrilled when they opened the new location on W Broadway. I'm pretty much a regular. You haven't HAD french macarons until you've had these. They actually fly them in from Paris. How cool is that.

Introducing EastLoveCoast

EastLoveCoast began because of my love for three things. Typography, black and white (anything) and New York City.

I have lived on the east coast now for three years (yes, I'm a west coast transplant). NYC is somewhere I never really imagined myself, so when I first moved to the area I was actually surprised by how much I loved it. I always pictured it being dirty and scary, but in my experience it is none of those things. It is a beautiful place and I think most of all, full of INSPIRATION. I love walking the streets having no idea where I'm going and always seeing something new. It's refreshing to see such a wide variety of people, fashion, and architecture. It really reminds me of how important it is to get out of your comfort zone and to travel away from where you grew up. It has really changed me for the better. I hope the quotes in our store inspire you to "get away", even if it's just for a little bit. :)
